Town hall blasts City Schools, leadership: ‘Without adequate education, you’re in prison’

During a FOX45 News Your Voice, Your Future Town Hall Monday, nationally renowned civil rights leader Ben Crump joined community leaders to discuss several failures inside Baltimore City Public Schools and other problems facing the city as a couple continues to sue the school system with the hope of driving change.

Crump joined the lawsuit in early July and will help represent plaintiffs Jovani and Shawnda Patterson, two Baltimore City parents who filed the lawsuit in January against the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners, Baltimore City Council and Mayor Brandon Scott.
