Sherry Durkee
Superintendent
Superintendent of Oklahoma鈥檚 Sand Springs Public Schools since 2016, Durkee was twice named a regional Superintendent of the Year and is the 2025 recipient of the Oklahoma Foundation’s Medal for Excellence. She has developed a state-of-the-art STEM academy, expanded foreign language offerings and extracurricular activities, and partnered with regional employers to offer CTE programs.
