Mariana Padilla

Padilla is the secretary of the New Mexico Public Education Department and previously served as director of the state鈥檚 Children鈥檚 Cabinet, leading Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham鈥檚 child and family well-being agenda. She launched a statewide literacy initiative and created the New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department while spearheading the Cradle to Career education agenda.
