This latest from WalletHub reveals the best and worst school systems across the country, including a detailed ranking of each state based on a variety of factors, including:

• Teacher credentials

While each of these indicators contributes to a school system’s overall success, funding is often a significant contributing factor as well, the report suggests. Traditionally speaking, more resources equals better school system performance, cited in the report. And as the data reveals, New York landed the top spot in terms of spending per student and ranks 13 overall for school system quality.
