Christina Grants education career started more than 20 years ago as a public school teacher in Harlem. Since then, she has been the superintendent of the Great Oaks Foundation, deputy executive director at the New York City Department of Education and superintendent of the Office of the State Superintendent of Education in Washington, D.C. She is now the executive director for the Center for Education Policy Research (CEPR) at Harvard University.
