People Watch: Veteran superintendent to take over Arkansas district

The Norfork School Board in Arkansas has selected Chip Layne, who is currently superintendent of the state’s Mammoth Spring School District, to lead the Norfork School District, replacing retiring Superintendent Mike Seay. Read more.

Anthony Robinson will lead Missouri’s Sikeston R-6district as the next superintendent of schools, replacing retiring Superintendent Tom Williams. Robinson has served as the deputy superintendent for Cape Girardeau schools, also in the state. Read more.

Joe Murphy, who is currently Livingston Parish Public School System‘s assistant superintendent, will take over as superintendent from Rick Wentzel. Murphy has worked in the Louisiana district since 1992.Read more.
