People Watch: North Carolina district brings in Catherine Edmonds

Catherine Edmonds has been named superintendent of Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools in North Carolina. She will move into the new role on July 1, after serving as the superintendent for Bertie County Schools, also in the state, for the past 16 months.油Read more.

Joel D. Boyd was chosen as the new superintendent of schools for the city of Lowell, Massachusetts. He is currently an academic superintendent at Boston Public Schools. Read more.

Jennifer Ivory-Tatum, who is currently assistant superintendent of curriculum, instruction and assessment for Champaign Unit 4’s schools in Illinois, will now lead the state’s油Urbana District 116. Read more.
