Multiple area school districts have made the decision to cancel summer school classes Wednesday after an FBI-warned threat of a mass shooting.
The Blue Springs, Missouri, School District first announced Tuesday night that it would cancel summer school and all school activities “until further notice” due to a possible threat of a mass shooting.
The Blue Springs Police Department notified the FBI of a possible threat related to an unspecific mass shooting. The FBI has confirmed that the individual in question in regard to the threat is missing. This individual is believed to be dangerous.
