In January, Assistant Wisconsin State Superintendent after her predecessor, Tony Evers, was sworn in as governor. As assistant state superintendent, Taylor oversaw the Division of Learning Support, a branch responsible for special education. In 2018, she received the Virginia Hart Special Recognition Award, an honor given to female state employees who make a difference through their service to Wisconsin.��
