The 2025 Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC), held Jan. 1417 in Orlando, Florida, drew over 9,000 registered education professionals, including education leaders, technology professionals, coaches and instructors, representing consistent growth from the prior year.

This years event offered an expansive program featuring engaging workshops, inspiring keynotes, more than 700 sessions and workshops, structured networking opportunities, and a bustling Expo that spanned 90,400 square feet.

The Expo floor showcased over 450 solution providers in a vendor-agnostic environment, providing schools and districts with cutting-edge tools designed to revolutionize learning and drive student success. Three specialized areas highlighted critical topics: safety and security, cybersecurity and emerging edtech start-ups, offering attendees targeted solutions to address todays most pressing challenges in education.

FETC 2025 once again delivered a comprehensive and impactful experience, reaffirming its position as a leading event in education technology.

FETC is the go-to resource for district leaders, instructors, and educators seeking the latest advancements in education technology, said Amy Dujon, vice president. Our mission is to empower attendees with actionable tools and strategies to drive meaningful change across their campuses and districts. By bringing together industry experts, thought leaders and hands-on learning opportunities, FETC ensures that participants leave inspired, informed and ready to lead innovation in their schools and communities.

The education program at FETC 2025 moved beyond theoretical concepts, focusing on the practical application and implementation of artificial intelligence, robotics, augmented and virtual reality, personalized learning, CTE integrations and other emerging technologies.

New additions to the professional development offerings this year included a dedicated track for Esports Leaders, Inclusive Leaders Summit, IT Leaders Summit and a Safety and Security Technologies Summit, bringing together experts and industry in safety facilities management.

Programming has shifted toward a stronger emphasis on real-world application and actionable use cases, said Jenn Womble, conference chair for FETC. Attendees gained valuable knowledge on how to effectively implement these technologies in their schools and districts, as well as built viable connections to vendor partners that they will utilize year-round to enact innovative changes to pedagogy and processes.

The conference featured three dynamic keynote sessions, headlined by chief evangelist for Canva and former Apple evangelist, author and podcaster, Guy Kawasaki; educator and design thinking researcher Dr. Sabba Quidwai; and a lively interactive panel at TechSHARE Live with edtech pioneers Leslie Fisher, Dr. Adam Phyall III and Adam Bellow.

FETC 2025 also marked the official launch of CommunityEDU, a groundbreaking initiative uniting a diverse portfolio of media, conference, and membership brands aimed at empowering education leaders, fostering innovation and shaping the future of preK-12 and higher education.
