Construction Watch: Utah district’s bond projects go $73 million over budget

The 2016 bond projects for Utah’s Alpine School District have been millions of dollars over budget since the start. The $387 million bond includes four phases of construction and has been used to purchase property, perform security upgrades at schools, rebuild schools, and construct new schools, among other projects. The district attributes the total deficit of $73.75 million to rising construction costs. Read more.
