Drawing on a five鈥憏ear research partnership with a leading university, this session explores five research鈥慻rounded leadership practices that help schools strengthen math instruction and improve student outcomes:
- Prioritizing relationships for instructional change
- Examining daily schedules to maximize opportunities for student learning
- Fostering student agency across all grade levels
- Building a coherent program rather than relying on disconnected initiatives
- Supporting teams through focused Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
After implementing these five leadership moves, one K鈥8 partner school聽increased math proficiency on MAP test scores sixfold聽in just two years. By year two, more than聽half of students were exceeding typical growth.
Bonus:聽Attendees who join the live event will be able to participate in a five-minute Thought Exchange workshop to share and rank best practices among their peers. Audience participation will generate in-depth reporting.
