Governor Kathy Hochul wants to implement a new meal program that will cover breakfast and lunch for every student in every school across New York State. That鈥檚 over 2.7 million students.
鈥淭he research is clear: good food in the lunchroom creates good grades in the classroom,鈥 Governor Hochul said. 鈥淚鈥檓 proposing free school meals for every student in New York鈥 giving kids the sustenance they need and putting more money back in parents鈥 pockets.鈥
