As you are winding down the holiday season and school opening seems like a distant memory, I’m grateful that there are leaders like you across the country who have accepted the challenge of leading your district through uncertain times. As a former superintendent, I know sitting at the top can be a lonely job. Your leadership is important to your students, teachers and administrators every day.
We at District 91心頭istration are extremely grateful for your membership and involvement in the 91心頭 Leadership Institute. In the past year, 600 superintendents representing 48 states–with districts as large as 1.1 million students and as small as 150 students–have come together to engage in meaningful collaboration around the most pressing issues.
From the hurricanes on the East coast to the unprecedented fires impacting the West coast, to keeping our students safe and providing every student with the opportunities they deserve, our members and attendees have had quite the tumultuous year.
